Having read through all three websites of the distance learning option. It clear we are in the era of technology and it makes sense for some families to choose a online school if they feel their child's needs aren't being met, or if they are unable to attend a regular school environment.
The online school I would chose for my three children would be connections academy. After reading all their info and seeing their lesson plans and knowing what a typical day would include and the fact they have field trips and meet days so the children can get together. Another reason I liked this one a little more was the fact they wouldn't be on the computer all day long they would have papers and books they can do and that appealed to me.
The one I didn't like the most was OHDELA the reason I didn't like this one as much as the others because if felt it was more for the parents than the children and yes they had virtual classrooms but some kids cannot sit that long and listen to those long lectures and maybe that is the reason some families are leaving the school system.
All three sites were well laid out and easy to use and I know if my child chose the DL option they would be setup for success .

My Prezi
Here is my prezi project. The audience that this is intended for is anybody that wants to get to know me. The grade level that I want to teach is 1st grade the most, but if the opportunity arose to teach in another grade especially with social studies I would jump at the chance.
My experience with prezi was an interesting one to say the least. From having trouble with coming up with my content and background and animation to the embedded code. I did like using this software as a way to engage your audience.

All About Me?
Good Afternoon future readers,
To start off my name is Staci and i'm not a professional blogger if anything I'm lucky if i do this right. some things about me i'm married to my high school sweetheart for almost 9 years. we have 3 beautiful children. Autumn is 9 , Cooper is 7 and Charleigh is 5
My hobbies include reading and cooking and i know this sounds pretty lame but hanging out at home with my husband and kids and seeing what kind of trouble we can get into.
My goals as a future educator is one become said educator in what field I am not sure yet. I love children and I want to make a difference in their lives, watch as that light bulb moment comes to them when they figured out something that has been so hard for them. help shape them into the people they will become as adults.
i have few ideal teaching ideas in my head on where i could go, one be a kindergartner teacher, an intervention specialist, or maybe a history teacher.
thanks for reading till next time,
Mrs. Staci
